Lovely stuff - and yes the mighty EM looks "cute" next the that big boy SA.

Shame the Emergency has to go - that will be a sad day.

Haha, I haven't played with setting them since I got back home. I guess I should break out the good old Citizen Skyhawk AT Ti and set them both to it as it's atomic clock sync'd ;)

I am a little bummed about the EM but I'm sure it'll go to a good home (at least I hope) 21 bids so far, 32 people watching the auction... a day and a half to go.... reserve is off... nail biter :shock:

Wow there are A LOT of changes to the watch besides just the baton markers. In comparing them there is now a silver trim on the date window and the hour markers at 3,6,9,12. Also the subdials are white and they have the lines on one half. Also since the subs aren't silver they added a silver trim to them. I would love to have all those changes on mine but keep my arabic markers. Great photos!!! and Great watch!!!

Thanks guys, yes there are plenty of changes, which I love. The dials match the watch color so on the black they are black, blue - blue etc. All of them have the thin white lines on the right half of the sub dials.

The runway 08 catalog lists and I quote "Dial with index hour-markers or "aviation" numerals. So you can still get the older dial if you so choose. :D I just wanted to stay a step ahead of the counterfeits, plus I love the uniformity of this design. The older design like my Emergency Mission was a bit chaotic to me with chopped numbers of varying sizes etc.

... I would say something like "whatever floats your boat" but we all know that's Archimede's principle ;)

I love the true simplicity of the dial. Stick markers are highly underrated.
