So, here's a bit of something else. How did that go? Ice Ice baby? :)

We rushed off into te mountains this morning when we saw the weather... That is, we tried, because what really happened was that we got stuck in traffic as soon as we hit the motorway. It is the firs weekend of the winter school vacations in some countries here in Europe. So, hundreds... No, thousands of Dutch, Belgian and Luxemburgian, as well as a whole lot of local vehicles were all headed mountainwards. And not very fast at that, causing a massive jam. From our home, we can get to our usual ski resort in about 45 minutes. 45 minutes after our departure we had not even left the bassin of lake Geneva. Under normal conditions we would still be 30 to 35 minutes from our destination but with that traffic, it'd be hours. So we went for plan B. We left the Motorway and hit a little mountain road. Old school days came to mind when we arrived in the little station where we used to go to winter camp as children. It is small but gorgeous. Aside from that, it seems to really only be known to locals. We found a parking spot without difficulty and had a magnificent skiing day... In short sleeves, under the sun and of course with my Pam ;)

I am extremely jealous, more because of the watch and scenery! I'm not a skiing fan at all, but I'm sure it's absolutely beautiful there. Thanks for sharing!
