EDIT - I was just about to give the glowing review that follows, I went to set the time to the atomic clock and the crown and stem fell out. Realy?? I can screw it in and wind it and change the date, but not the time and then it falls out! Think my AD watchmaker should be able to take care of this, right? RIGHT!!!!???? Don't want to send it back in) Very nice(Edit - not really), timely, and pretty inexpensive refurbishing by BUSA of my new to me 1993 Chrono Shark - Esentially new movement, new crystal, new old stock dial, new hands, exterior refinsing. The only thing I’m wondering is why they polished the enamel out of the Bezel markers, but I like the look regardless. (Two of the hash marks still have the enamel, but that will be easy enough to take care of.)

OK, I can change the date, wind it, and reverse the time, but forwarding the time doesn't work and he damn thing then falls out. Only gets loose when treying to forward the time. WTF is that about?

Wow, that sucks. Great looking piece you got back, but how did they let something as major as the crown stem coming out slip by?!?!?!?!? It's an easy fix your local guy can do (probably keyless problem), but that's still ridiculous.

Sharky, nice piece (other than the stem issue), but I'm guessing it would be a fairly easy fix for a good watch maker to remedy.

I'd send it back to Breitling and get at least a partial refund... stem falling out and enamel left in two places.... I would expect perfection, and if not, very close to it..

If it is a simple fix, my local AD has a Breitling certified guy and they will charge me minimal to nothing and it will be a couple weeks. BUSA will be a couple months...........

Unless it's a unique part issue, I'd think the local AD watchmaker could make it work, it's a Valjoux 7750, isn't it? At least he might be able to rig something together and work something out with BUSA in the interim.

The dial looks great, and to me the best part is it's listed as 42mm. For people with 7.75 and smaller wrists, a great size. If you liked the bezel numbers in black, I think a local guy could do that, too.

I think it will be a simple fix. Will have their guy remove the two hash marks as well. Where is Roff when you need him?????

Dunno, he never seems to be around

I doubt that any parts are needed, it's probably as simple as a screw not tightened properly.
