just got the new to me navi 01 le - absolutley love it, just ticks all the boxes. Just the right size and weight, inhouse movement, chrono, amazing ar crystal, display back, if only it was more WR but thats just being picky. some of the things i did not know about - The difference from the 6.75 braclet with the quick change mini adjustment on the clasp which is now a spring bar on the navi bracelet - looks a more sturdly system but takes away from being able to adjust the strap in a few seconds without needing a tool. The way the date changes, in all watches i have had before it "clicks" between dates but this slides between dates - I am guessing its something to do with the quick date change system? I also purchased a croc on deployment and have a small issue that my wrist is too small, as when it is adjusted to fit there is too much leather under the clasp meaning the far side is pushed out and it does not look right, is there any way to solve this apart from cutting the end off the strap? the strap is new so is very rigid will it not be to noticeable once the leather has worn in a bit? a few pics ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() and a few of my small collection, just need to add a decent dive watch and a birth year watch (1982) if anyone has anything, and I will be done ![]() |

Congrats, welcome to the club, beautiful ! I am not sure if there is a shorter OEM deployment strap, but Tom will know for sure. His (now my) solution is a short standard OEM with a butterfly clasp, quite comfortable. |

There are short deployant straps, but it will 'break in' as well over the next few weeks. The date change is a way to reduce torque in the movement. |

I know what you mean with the strap - if your wrist is as short as mine, you are well into the thick padding, having fought like hell to wedge it into the deploy. As a result you have extra length all the way around the side of you wrist. Take the strap back and ask them to order a a short strap. Beautiful watch. Congrats! |

I had the same problem with my deployment strap. Let it be. After around 15-20 days you wear it, it will "break in" and you wont feel it. |

A short OEM deployant will cost you $50 more than a standard length. The short version fits my 6.5" wrist perfectly without the need to cut . . . but if my wrist were any smaller, the strap would need to be trimmed a little. Get one, you'll be much happier with it than the standard length. |
