Hi all,

I took the plunge this morning and went for the blue dial Skyracer - Can't stop looking at it. javascript:emoticon('')Thought I would try and post some pictures, hope they come out alright as I have not done this before. Let me know what you think JP.

P.S. Think I have caught the bug as I am wanting my next one now!

Nice!

I do like the Skyracer, expensive, but worth it.

Great shots, JP, and welcome to the mad-house.

What's next on your wish-list?

Nick

Great pics!

Had a white dial but sold her on. She blinded me!!!!!!

Enjoy yourself, but don't crash into anything while driving and looking down at the same time!!!

Love that Skyracer! In every model line I have a favourite, and the Skyracer is by far my favourite in the Professional line. That blue dial is great!
Cheers,
Carl

Excellent! Great watch and pics! I agree with Carl, this is the one I'd really like from the professional series.

Cheers for the comments guys. Still smitten by the watch. Looked at a Blackbird at my AD, may sway me away from the chrono superocean.

I went into Mappin and Webb on Regent Street this morning. I tried on a Skyland Black Steel, which was very cool but perhaps not what I want for my first Breitling, a grey-face Skracer and a Blackbird.

All three were lovely. I had never seen a Blackbird before. Very impressive.

We are going through Gatwick South Terminal on Thursday so will look in Goldsmiths there, as they are ADs. I am leaning towards the Skyracer as the one I want to live with long term. It seems robust enough for everyday wear and things like swimming and snorkelling from time to time, yet it has the classic Breitling things like the B and anchor on the sweep hand and the raised logo. In the end it depends on what they have in stock.

Really really really beautiful! Congrats!
A worthy successor to the B2!
I see there are 2 hands where the usual stop watch seconds hand is. What does the other one do?
