Composed a shot today which was receptive to aspect ratio editing for PC wallpaper use on different monitors at different resolutions including widescreens. Hope the photo subject matter is acceptable for the purpose...

That's very decent of you, Ron :D

The good thing about having that view for wallpaper is that I could spend hours staring at the movement instead of working...

Hi, Otto. Thanks. :) Yep, with the exception of the chrono brake being delrin in the Cossie and the gearing being 24hr vice 12, the movement is the same as in your Speedy Pro. No wonder you enjoy staring at the shot... :uplaugh:
Best,
Ron

Lovely.

Where I work, a 30" monitor is standard issue for engineers. Some of us have 2 or 3.

Now I really regret not bidding on the last one of these I saw on eBay. :( Great pics, like usual Ron. :)

Hi, BS. Thanks for the flowers. :) Well, the Bay has one of the last ones built (S/N 28XX) available right now and it appears to be in primo condition on 423A bracelet. It is the later 18 jewel version of the Lemania 1877 and in addition, the ".1" added to the model number indicates a production modification to the piece, typically an internal improvement of some sort. The November 1999 build bracelet even has the later end link, evidenced by it's engraving indicating compatibility with the two tone 423 bracelet. The price is quite high unfortunately indicating a lot of pride (or wishful thinking) on the part of the seller but again, the photos indicate the piece is in absolutely excellent condition. Unfortunately only the box set is with it but at least it's original. A slide rule card and manual can be obtained for the watch if need be. I see where the seller has declined an offer for the piece but perhaps an email to the seller asking what is the absolute minimum he would accept for the watch is in order. Anyway, take a look... :)
Best,
Ron
