Post subject:  My new Chronomat
I've wanted to take part of the Windrider models for some time and really hoped for Breitling to come up with a larger Chronomat at Basel. Now they didn't, so then I have to adapt.

Also, I've wanted the red dial for quite a time. Might seem as a very strange choice to some of you, but I really like the red dial of my Omega Speedmaster Schumacher LE. Also, with having a black SA, a black CA, a white Legende, a white 6.75, a coral SO and a (former) white vintage one I really don't mind if the Chronomat doesn't fit to every occasion.

So, found a good dealer in Tokyo (and there are a lot of them here), and this is the result...

Nice piece - wouldn't be my choice, but who cares about that. The red is really striking without screaming quite so loudly as yellow or coral Breitlings (don't mean that negatively Doc).

Very distinctive Aleister. (Not my personal choice of colour, but still very nice). I bet you will never see another on anyone's wrist, so you can guarantee being unique. :thumbsup:

Hey Aleister,

Your pics do more for that dial than the Chronolog does. It's never "grabbed" me like some (many!) of the others until very recently, when I happened on one on ebay but failed to get it. I'm now grumpy (because the auction was ended early) and on the hunt for one elsewhere, so if you change your mind about yours ... :lol:

Glad you liked the pics! I'll have you in mind, if I would suddenly decide to pass it on... Not very likely for the moment, but one never knows... :)
