Hi All,

I've been lurking for some time admiring the Breitling pics & related discussion topics and finally decided to register.

I would like to share some pictures with you of the watch that I've been after - the CA which I recently purchased pre-loved.

I've received on the titanium Pro I bracelet and I've just bought the Pro Diver II cautchouk strap (IMO suitable for summer activities). I also considering putting it on the brown calf leather strap - would love to see pictures of your Avenger Skyland/CA on that strap!

Thanks Xrays,

Looks stunning! That strap really underlines the aspects /details of the case and brings up the depth of the dial.....it is incredible.

This watch caught my eye while watching the flick and started my Breitling admiration. I'd say it looks pretty sweet on a brown strap.

Great movie - I did not realise that Dicaprio's character - Archer was wearing a CA until recently :) Looks sweet on the brown strap but I am not sure if this is the original Breitling strap - as far as I can see the original calf leather straps are with white (or somewhat beige looking) stitches.

Regarding the flick - a small fun fact: events in the movie take place in Africa during 1999, the Chrono Avenger production years are between 2001 - 2007... Danny Archer must have had one of the first CA prototypes

Of course it started out with white contrast stitching. There are other shots where you can see muted contrast stitching and a definable Breitling style to the strap. The watch/strap went thought mud, water, and what not. I'm sure the prop and wardrobe sorts pre-stressed the strap.

See this one, below. Clearly a Breitling strap put through the ringer IMO -

Thanks Shakrman, this strap is the way to go for me - it brings up the case and the dial, the CA is such a versatile watch!

+1

Would be interesting to see the state of that leather strap after the filming though. Could prove, if need be, the quality of the Breitling straps.
