I was touring the capital with some friends from out of town and noticed this display of a breitling sponsored air balloon. Took a couple quick and dirty shots while wearing my CSO ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It was the first air balloon to achieve a non-stop round-of-the-world flight piloted by Bertrand Piccard and Brian Jones. The flight departed from Switzerland (Château-d'Oex) and landed in Egypt less than 20 days later. B. Piccard beat Sir Richard Branson to it. It was his 3d attempt (thus Orbiter 3). |
