Glad to get my first nice timepiece today, a Breitling Avenger Seawolf. I know it's considered an entry level Breitling, but I am in my early 20's so I think I am starting at a good point and should be able to add over time. So far I absolutely love it, and I do dive so it will be getting some use for what it was made to do.

Some eye candy:

Now for my bucket list for future watches:
Breitling B01
Rolex Daytona
Rolex Datejust II
IWC Big Pilot

Congrats on the new piece - I hope you enjoy it for years to come.

BTW - I saw your "bucket list." IMO - the Rolex Daytona is overrated and overpriced. Put that one farther down on your list. I think as you learn more about this "hobby," you'll find that there are much better/cooler watches at that price point.

Good luck!

Thanks, you are probably correct on the Daytona, good advice. I am really loving this thing, I have always been into watches, just never had one. I feel like its a solid start to a great hobby. Few things I have purchased have made me this happy, thats what its all about. I think my actual next purchase will be a titanium pro II bracelet so I can change that up whenever I feel like it. Is it difficult to switch the bands and do it correctly? Seems like a good many people around here do it themselves, which would be great.

daytona is a bit over priced but as for better and cooler....well thats subjective. you cant deny that the watch has that iconic appeal

Congrats on the new watch! Changing the strap is real easy. Putting on the bracelet can take some time the first couple of times but once you get the hang of it it will take you less than five minutes to go from a rubber strap to a bracelet. Going from the bracelet back to the strap will take even less time. When I got my B01 I made sure to get the Bergeon 6767F as well. I purchased mine from here: http://www.mywatchmaker.net/index.htm

Congrats on the new purchase.

It may be one of the entry level Breitlings but so what? It's a great piece that will give you plenty years of enjoyment and pride. Wear it well.
