I've been inspired by the recent superb pictures of Mr Spiderer's Black dialled Steelfish to look over some of my old photos. I bought this watch in 2005 and sold it in 2007 to fund my Super Avenger purchase. I'm contemplating buying one of the few remaining ones.

A little bit amateur compared to most on here but a little bit of fun as well:

Great pictures of one of breitlings best design IMHO. I think its a shame this was replaced with the current garbage!

For a minute there I thought Breitling HAD reintroduced the watch - the new Steelfish Color Series.

Great watch, I just don't understand why it has to go. Makes no sense to me. I like the white face, very classy.
Thanks fr the post, Best health, Frank.

Thank You all for Your kind words and I agree with you all that it should definitely stay and is a million times more desirable than any diver watch that is coming out this year.

Guys,

I've been away from a computer for a number of months (don't ask why)
and away from the Breitling Source for much longer...so imagine my
surprise when I learned of the Steelfish's eminent demise.

Even though my (white-dialed) 'Fish has been getting limited use lately, I
plan to keep it forever. It's just too cool a watch to ever part with. What's
wrong with the people at Breitling, anyway, to let such an icon disappear?

Watch politics? Go figure.

I've never really gone for the white dial, but those snow shots a perfect. they really make it sing.

Here is my group, all four went from current models to discontinued in one model year. The King is dead, long live the King.
Best health, Frank.

One of my favorite pictures of a Colt. It is such an elegently simple dial. One really amazing watch for the price - and overlooked I believe BECAUSE of the lower price.
