I'm seriously considering buying a gently used emergency on a rubber strap. I was hoping to get a nice thread going showing off some photos that fellow Breitling source members' may have.

Post em if you got them please! :lingsrock:

Thanks! Heres the thing, I'm looking for a Quartz movement this time around so I can use it for golf. Since I'm not a huge Quartz movement type of person, I figured If I do get one it better be something kinda cool ya know? Therefore I thought the emergency would be a good fit. After all it's probably the coolest quartz watches out there unless anyone can help me think of something else.

How do you like wearing it? Also, are al quartz movements safe with golf you think?

Thanks!
Mrc

That is awesome! I guess you couldn't decide on a color so you got them both???? :lingsrock: that's great! I love both of the colors and don't think I would be able to decide either. I may go without the yellow since I already have a black CE and a white World so I may change it up for my "fun" watch!

What do you think a fair price for just the head is???? I have a rubber strap already.

Thanks for the pics and help! :lingsrock:

The emergency is still going to be made for a little while right?

The one thing that posses me off about the emergency it how the title (I feel as thou) contradicts itself. Meaning... If you actually have to use this watch to its full ability you will most likely be in a messed up situation whether you are on land or water. Therefore shouldn't it be more rugged in regards to water resistance???? I dunno JMO. Still not a deal breaker for me though! I think it would be amazing if they made a Nautical version of this with a higher WR!

Afraid not, it's discontinued and has been since last year sometime. Breitling SA have none left so they are all in the dealer network, if you can find a new one, jump on it, I got 40% off rrp on mine last month. I've seen second hand ones sell for more than I paid for mine new.

That is such as great combo! :lingsrock: Now I'm stuck debating whether or not to wait for the new E's to come out in 2013!

I know my E and UTC have a certain shelf life, but it is the most eye catching combination Breitling have ever produced....my opinion.

I will love wearing it for at least 15 years from now, even if it's no longer a life saver. I think Dassault have sent Breitling a decade of spares? So for me it remains alive.

It will remain a truly beautiful watch.

Man, it's a great watch, a true Breitling classic. Don't wait for 2013... Get one now and one then!

You won't regret, one of the best superquartz put there!

Yea I agree... I put the word out to George to keep an eye out for a nice used one for me(black or yellow). My only thing is the WR though... I am somewhat outdoorsy and would really like that extra safety(Mostly swimming pools/ocean stuff, but nothing more than 10'). Think this will be added to the ones coming out in 2013? How do you guys use your Emergency?...any water use?

I mean if Bear Grylls(Man vs. Wild) can jump of cliffs I should be fine, right!? :D

Also, when the 2013 come out will, would effect the resale on this model?
