I picked up whats probably the last chronograph superocean in Alberta yesterday and needless to say I am stocked :cheer: While I wait for the right strap to come in how about sharing with us your best CSO pictures to help me ease the pain of waiting and providing others with the opportunity to admire an awesome Breitling  Thanks :D

First off, congrats on the new pick up!!

This model is certainly worthy of it's own thread, so here are a couple pics from today of the black dial version presently residing on a brown croco -

Yes, congrats. What dial and strap are you getting? Here are a couple more shots, hot off the grill.

Thanks gents!

I got the black dial like yous twos! Go figure, I wanted something other than black, but I guess you like what you like

As for the strap going with the diver pro II for a little change and it will fit perfectly for the summer. I got my Navitimer on black croc, when my SO comes back from the overhaul its on the pro bracelet II and the CSO will be on the diver. Then after summer I plan to put the CSO on brow croc like Sharky for the fall and the wonderful Calgary winters.

Those are some sweet pics btw. Can't wait to hear from my AD. At least this time it wont take three months like with the Navitimer since they have the CSO in stock. Just have to wait for the strap. Hope its not too long.

I won't even begin to compare Portland winters to those in Calgary. Nevertheless, I've had my CSO since early January, and thanks to the infamous Portland gloom, this is the first time the light has been good enough for me to get some decent pics of the thing. Be sure to post yours when you get it.

I am happy to hear that you made the call based on something other than dial color. I don't see anything wrong with having several black dials, particularly with the silvery black that looks so good on Breitling's.

Good luck on the wait and post some shots when you can.

Hopefully this week I'll have enough time to pick up a digital camera as well so I don't have to keep taking pictures with my phone and post something at least decent for you guys once I get the watch. All this weekend its been -10C and snowing up here so I might take a few of the CSO in the snow

thomasenlow1: 10-4 pal, I went with something that I really like  and that was the black dial with the silver subdials!

You can't go wrong with it. I have to say, though, as one who generally does not like silver-dial watches, the silver with blue subs is a damn fine looking specimen, as well. No doubt that's why Tom has both of them.

Congrats Alex, that's a great JIT pick-up. I'm sure you'll enjoy it very much with the DP.

And, come winter, you can put it on a gold or brown croco, like Tom, which is one of the classiest combos IMO.

Enjoy it, my friend, life is short.

Congrats on a great watch. I really feel this CSO will one day carry the same instant recognition as the Navitimer. Just a classic look that will always be in style.

Vintage, how do you like the feel of the OR compared to the Pro II on the CSO?
