Some were wondering how this looked, I finally got around to taking a couple of pics. It looked odd at first 'cause I was used to seeing the Racer on my Skyland. But, after wearing it for a few days, I've really begun to like the combo. This is for you, Carl :D

That looks fantastic! I love the circle markers on the dial and the circles in the strap. Great. Now I need a Steelfish.

In a weird moment though, we have those exact counter tops in our kitchen.

Thanks for posting. I'm sure Carl will be that much more anxious to get his now.

That's funny... I actually have just that one tile - when I go to Lowe's or Home Depot, I check out the tile section and see if there are any tiles that I like. I use them for backgrounds when I photograph watches or knives. I still like my sheet of carbon fiber, though, as I don't have to worry about it scratching whatever I'm photographing.

Beautiful combination!

Love that strap - wasn't a fan of the blackface but that is truly stunning.

Thanks

Ross,
Thank You so very much! When I ordered the Ocean Racer strap for my Steelfish, I knew it would look good, but had no idea it would look that great! I think it actually suits the watch better than the stainless bracelet.
All I can say is ...WOW!!!!
I was actually considering selling the Steelfish, because I am wearing my Blacksteel all the time. After seeing your photos, I know that the Steelfish is going to get tons of wrist time.
This 58-year-old is like a kid again! I can't wait for that strap to arrive. I was impressed with the photos of the Skyland on an Ocean Racer, but this is even better. It suits the watch so well, especially the cutouts and the round hour markers on the dial.
Thanks again!
Cheers,
Carl

I was on the fence about that strap as well. But from the pictures you provided, it seems to really bring out the contrast of the black face with the steel dial on the Skyland.

Nice work!
