I believe I am done! I just spent the better part of an hour looking through a number of sites selling used watches. Omega, IWC, PP, you name it. In truth there are many beautiful timepieces on the market, but, none of them rang any bells. I look at what I have, look at what is out there, read the remarks of people on other watch brand forums and realize I am done. Of course there are other watches I would like to have but they would sit as I have the best group, for me, already. I do love looking at all the great watches photo's that are posted here but I can not see me leaving the ones I have on a shelf in favor of something new or different. To be completely honest I was at my AD this past week lamenting the loss of my Skyland so I am leaving an opening to replace that even though I know I can not wear it. Nobody ever said I was too bright. This may sound foolish but I am very satisfied with what I own and do not wish to gather anything else, except that Skyland, into my fold.
WOW, this is a bit of a revelation as I have never hit this wall with any of my other interests? I better not let my wife see this.
Best health and stay safe all, Frank

I can definitely see myself feeling content with a well selected group of 4 or 5 Breitling's. Many more and it would be hard for me to give each one the proper amount of TLC.

Your collection is gorgeous and very utilitarian to boot.

I have thought about that, it would have to be something really special. The Transocean may just be that piece but I have yet to see one in the flesh. The other side of that is it would replace my Navi in the rotation. I am not sure I can do that as I really love my Navi. I also miss my Skyland for the Blackbird swap. Love my BEB but really miss the Sky. I will have to wait and see but honestly, the in-house movement is a real pull but not a gotta have. I really am good right now and truly love what I have.
Thanks for the interest, best health, Frank

Have you thought about thr silver dial TO like kstone's? This wouldn't necessarily require replacing the Navi. If you prefer the black dial then yes I agree that the Navi is a bit similar.

Looking over this again look how good the Colt looks against the heavy weights!

"Poor man's Breitling" I don't think so...

It looks fantastic here and holds up very well in this line up..

It makes perfect sense to me. :)

The Colt looks better than most on my arm. Something about the cut of the crown protectors and shallow caseback.

I feel the same as well about the in house pieces coming out. Interesting, but not tugging at me. Fact is, I would strap on an $11,000 JLC (just an example) and think, "Cool! In house, looks good." Then it would sit for 2 weeks before I'd wear it again. Strap on a Chrono Superocean or the like and it makes me smile.

So yeah, Frank I think I get it. It's all about what you truly like, not what you are supposed to like.

Thanks Sharkman, you said it better than I. As far as the Colt, I took off my BEB yesterday and put on my Colt auto on leather and revisited the simple style and classic look of the face. I wondered why I hadn't worn it more and I promised myself that I would.
In my case it was a IWC Port 10 day and I knew I was supposed to love it. I did like it but not enough to put my other's aside. I am not saying this would work for everyone and I am not even saying it will always work for me but this is an honest opinion of where I am right now. I genuinely love what I have.
Best health, Frank

I never get tired of staring at that pic Frank, it's what Breitling should be.

You must and should be genuinely proud and happy to have a family like this.

You really do have a great collection there Frank, a little something for every occasion. I also understand what you mean about being done. I only have two watches and while there are plenty of watches I want I can't really see myself have more than a couple, I can't imagine myself getting enough use out of all of them to justify owning more than 2-4.

I'd feel guilty for the ones i neglect.

I have two now, - maybe one more, then i'm out.

Nick.

That's what I'm thinking also. One more just to switch it up. Since I've been home I've pretty much worn my PO most of the time and the BB when I want to dress it up a bit. Maybe another dressy-ish watch, like a Navi 01 or a PAM 312 and I'd be good.
