Nice pic! The watch seems to be in really good condition! BroncoSport wrote: Nice watch. Whats the circle at 9 o'clock?
Might be wrong, but I think it is a day/night indicator? |

Aleister is correct about the day/night indicator. The black arrow (24hour) hand is set to your home location time and you can see the date on the subdial. The top right push piece moves the 12 hour hand forward and bottom right push piece moves it back. Bottom left push piece moves date subdial on one day. It took me ages to figure the watch out. I was told by an AD that the watch was discontinued due to it being so complicated and that it cost so much to produce. |

I am not sure that i am getting it right ![]() now the black arrow is a normal GMT function, the subdial at 6 position shows the date, the circle at 9 position is a day/night indicator (how?), so what is the apearture in 3 position for? if for date, then why the repeatition?! explanaition please ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

OK, the black arrow works like a cosmanaute, ie one revolution in 24 hours, The date window is the date at your home location, when you travel abroad you can move the hands with the push pieces to the time in that country, The date subdial is the date in that country also. it's so complicated when i travel i take my aerospace or B1 ! |

That's quite a rarity - been a while since I've seen one of those. Great to see again! ![]() It looks in superb condition too. How old is it? |

Hi driver8, I'm not sure about the date 'cos there was no warrenty book when i bought it. I would guess around mid 90's. if anyone out there has any idea please let me know. Model is B15047 serial number 1317. |

I'd agree with the mid 90's estimate as I've been into Breitlings since around 96 and I remember seeing these babies in the Chronolog. I don't have my chronologs to hand at the mo, so I can't say when they stopped making them. Yours looks in superb condition. You'd probably be hard pressed to find one in similar condition, especially with no wear on the riders. Very nice. |

I have a Duograph just like this in the pics. I purchased in 1992. The buttons set the hour hand forward and back to change time to your new time zone (for traveling). The black 24 hour hand stays at your local time. The main calendar moves with main hands and small calendar (near 6 o'clock) stays with local date. Circle by 9 o'clock is day and night (turns black) indicator. I love it! Any ideas of what it might be worth? Thanks! |
