in my view is this one. Black dial 1994 vintage Old Navitimer II with small Arabics and 6,9,12 subs. On black OEM calf leather, it is truly an iconic aviator timepiece IMHO... 8)

Yeah, I agree that's a beauty. I also like the arabics on the Navi. One of the things that keeps me from purchasing one is the lack of quick-set date. Doesn't the older model (Navi II) have the quick-set date?

I may have to wait for the new 01 version to get the date issue resolved - more $$ .

Yep, this one does indeed have the quickset date complication and I love it. :) This particular one with the smaller non "cut-off" Arabics is quite difficult to find on the pre-owned market. They were only produced a couple or three years in the mid 90's before the larger cut-off Arabics appeared. This one is much like the Cosmonaute, i.e., having full body numerals and IMO it is the nicest Navi ever built.
Best,
Ron

Here's another shot of it for you....

Agreed, Ron. I like the dial layout of the old Navi better than the current model.

Great shots as always.

:wowzers Fabulous shots Ron, thanks for sharing. What a scenery for your collection.

Great patches, too, I especially liked Rhodesia and Charlie Chaser. But the best of them all is Babylon Rocks.

Many must be collector's, too.

I also like the 6,9,12 subs, more than 3,6,9.
