Hey guys,

As I am eager to get my new watch I decided to snap a quick picture of the one that started it all. My current Breitling SuperOcean on black leather strap with deployment. I also wanted to share with you guys the lovely weather we are getting here in Calgary :canada

Nice SO Sasho. I sure prefer it to the Canadian weather, although we expect the same here by tomorrow nite :(

My Steelfish is on its way, too.

I dont mind the snow that much...its the temperature that I am not too pleased about. With the wind its -32C :tard:

Congrats on the Steelfish, you'll see they're good, versitile and tough watches. Trust me, I know from experience...after 2.5 years mine is working perfectly 8)

Thanks Alex, cannot wait for it to be here.

Being of Greek origin, you can understand why I hate snow.... and everything that goes with it. Except when I'm on vacation of course. Or if I'm stuck in a log cabin with a blizzard blowing but with my lady and the Lings. :)

OMG Alex, Calgary, what a dump. So glad I'm not there anymore!!

Actually, Vancouver is freezing cold, coldest November since 1985 or something like that.

Forget I said anything today. Wait a week till it's +10 here and still -30 there!

Enjoy the new toy, wear it in good health!!

Oh my, that looks COLD. Brrrrrrr :wowzers Watch looks great though! Wouldn't be my first pick with the Sunday-Go-To-Meetin duds, but with the black dial & strap it actually pulls it off quite well!

Hahahaha...duly noted

Yup, as Justin said, I have a something on the way to go better with the suits. Then I got some solid bases covered for the office and casual.

This weekend I will swing by my AD and get a new Breitling catalog to see what catches my fancy for the future...I still have the old 2008 one.

Thanks Justin!

Dude, it was -41C this morning...I think half of my brain froze over on the way over to work. Breitling weathered the cold fine on my 20 minute walk and working well.

I've been in Calgary for about 7 months. I'll tell you what I LOVE:

Calgary Stampede :woohoo:

Full disclosure, that is not me in the picture...however, I did partake in a few of those "traditional" shots in order to blend in with the locals and assimilate the culture

Haha Alex, I've lived in Calgary, Canmore and Lethbridge. Yes the Stampede may seem great, but come out to the coast with a hand full of bills on any given weekend, and you will have pics you can't even post here, with you in them! Man we've spent $1000 a piece a night and I'm telling you it's goooood times and all legal! That being said, my ex moved out to Calgary to pursue easier work pickings and you definitely have the income:cost of living on lock. OK, -41, I'll take the added cost of living and stay here.

Nuttin' but love for my fam in AB!

Hey Alex, how about visiting Switzerland and initiating the locals to the Calgary Stampede? I'm sure there are many would be followers. After all, culture is made to be shared, no?

Plus, since we've just had our first snow, it might help me make it through winter.

I just might. Leaving for Europe in a few weeks for the holidays. Should be a nice party :woohoo:

I can bring with me a few cowgirls and at the same time pick up my watch.

I love efficiency

But do not forget the cowgirls
