I'm hoping to start looking for a new watch soon and the one at the very, very top of my list is the Breitling Emergency Mission. My only issue is my less-than 7" wrists and these watches are so rare that I haven't seen one in the flesh to try on yet. So would people mind posting pictures up on here of the watch so I can get an idea of its size please? I'm hoping one of these with a co-pilot module bracelet will be my perfect watch... when I find one of course ![]() |

Welcome! My wrist size is 6.75", my first B was the EM, and I (still) love it! The 44mm won't pose any problems on your wrist, but the thickness (VERY), and the weight (HEAVY), might. Also, since it is discontinued, you may have problem finding one brand new in an AD. Btw, don't think any co-pilot modules will fit... Here's a recent thread which has a few Emergency Mission pictures posted: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=24506&start=15 And some of my older threads with the EM... viewtopic.php?f=10&t=15244 viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14910 And of course... ![]() viewtopic.php?f=1&t=15369 |

Oh my. I think I just drooled lol. I liked the idea of the EM before but now I REALLY want one. I have an ana\digi Emergency arriving tomorrow but chances are it will be tried on and then sold to fund an EM. I've found one on eBay that's within a decent travelling distance but from what I've seen, it's over-priced: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT There's an AD around 30mins from me that has so many Breitlings in there from all years that I'd be surprised if he doesn't have an EM. That's where I'm hoping to get to this weekend. It looks a lot better than I expected on the Diver strap but like I say, eventually I'd like to co-pilot it if possible. Someone above doesn't think this is possible though which would be a shame as I think then it would be my PERFECT watch... although it isn't far off as it is ![]() |

I spoke to that guy a week or so ago and he was willing to take £2000 on it. It wasn't a bad price but it will soon need a full service which I'd guess is around £300-400 or so, so I thought it's a little expensive? The money isn't really the issue, it's more that I want to get the right watch for the right money ![]() ![]() |

I probably won't go for this particular one but it's good to know for the future. |

In your previous post is the price 'hidden' in the ebay-link ![]() http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT It says £300 on the Goldsmiths receipt I see but I've never had a Breitling serviced fully before and therefore don't know if it differentiates between AD's. Put it this way, the other day, I went to get the battery changed in my Colt II chrono. I went to a shopping centre near me that has two Goldsmiths (same as the receipt in that auction) branches. One upstairs, one downstairs. They're the same company but one quoted 2 weeks @ £70 for the change; the other quoted 6-8 weeks @ £90 for the change. So perhaps different stores offer different prices for a service etc. |

wvynck wrote: Official prices are here: http://www.breitling.com/en/intro.html# ... h-america/ Thanks for that. I didn't realise the prices were on the website... Breitling really do seem to know what they're doing compared to previous premium brand watches I've bought. Very impressed ![]() |

wvynck wrote: Is been sold on ebay for £ 2025 ![]() Nice price for this Emergency ... I think I like the white dialled versions th most. They look like a watch for every occasion... from swimming to going out to dinner... and of course being in an emergency (hopefully that won't happen though lol). I've found a white dial locally so might go and view it over the weekend. |
