Hello. I’m new here at the forum. Used to read a lot but have not posted anything until now. I bought my first Breitling about two years ago; it was a Superocean Steelfish with black dial. I have also owned a Chronomat Crosswind SS with blue dial. I recently sold both these to buy a Navitimer 1461 which I found on chrono24 located in Brussels, Belgium. I live in Stockholm in Sweden so I booked a plane in the weekend after sending lots of emails to the seller Benoit Reneers who has a shop called Benwatch. I bought the Navtimer 1461 on August the 7th. It was described as Ultra complete and in 100% condition which I somewhat didn’t agree once when I saw the watch. It does have some smaller scratches on the saphire (maybe just on the AR-Coating), and was also lacking some of the papers, for example the Navitimer 1461 Instruction booklet. But I was promised a new saphire to be shipped to me as soon as Benoit got hold of it… It has been over 2 months and no new crystal. I’ll update this post if I ever get one as I am starting to have my doubths. However I really like this watch. The Semi-perpetual movement with date, month, day and also moonphase is really something that I am impressed by. I also like the classic look of the navitimer. The 41.5mm size is perfect for me. A bonus which I didn’t see at first was the small blue subdial-hands, I think it adds a nice touch of colour. It is also a limited edition of 250. This is the watch that I'm going to keep! ![]() |

Glad you like it despite the downsides you experienced. You can always send it in for service and have to brought back to near 100%. If you are going to keep it, no harm in that ![]() Wear it in good health! |

Wait a year or so for the sting of the flight & purchase to become a long forgotten memory. Some important event will come up, a wedding or something, and BOOM, you will have that thing in for a service in a second. It might help though if you call ahead and see what parts availability is like! Something like that when you have it back and it's like new, your going to treat it like fine bone china and fall in love all over again! |

Do you think it was included in this LE series Roff but just in SS with production of 250 instead? http://www.breitlingsource.com/watch_de ... d_192.html @JOhan: Not thinking anything sinister towards your watch BTW just have the opportunity to buy one and wanted some info. ![]() |
