Hey guys,
recently purchased my first Navitimer World from AD (Tourneau)....gave me okay pricing so i grabbed it!
long story short, i was looking for a decent watch that i wanted to keep for a long time....
and after about 8 months of research, it came down to Omega Seamaster, Tag grand carerra, and Navitimer world.
finally got down to Tag or Breitling, but why not spend extra $1.5~2K for a better brand, better watch...
hope i keep this one for a long time...! :lingsrock:
sorry for the small droid pics...

P.S quick 2 questions!
1. I would like to buy brown leather straps, should i order from Tourneau or buy it online? if better to buy online, where should i try?
2. the left side of watch already has some minor scratches due to daily wearing... should i buy one of those scratch removal kit...or take it to a local jewelry shop?

Welcome to breitlingsource, and congrats on the Navi World!!

I would not purchase the additional strap from Tourneau unless they are giving you a decent discount on it. I personally would post a thread in the sales forum here stating what you are looking to buy. As far as the scratches, I would suggest getting some Cape Cod cloths (all over ebay). You can do it yourself, and it makes a big difference.

Quick question, is Breitling making those boxes smaller now for 2010-11?????

:yeahthat I love blue crocs :D Nice piece anyway !! Enjoy and I wouldn't mind swirls nor scratches if this is going to be your daily watch ! A few wipes with the cod now and then will satisfy you more than enough ... At first I hated the swirls and scratches but I wear my B01 every day for doing almost everything and you get used to having the swirls and minor scratches

Thanks everyone !
yea i love this watch...first i thought the watch was broken...lol i didn't know the automatic self winding rotor would make this type of vibration..
It was the breitling navitimer that caught my eye in the beginning, so i am happy i ended up with this.
I jus had to go with the "WORLD" because regular navitimer (40mm?) looked small on my wrist.

I love the Bently 6.75, but i also love the navitimer. It's all time classic...you can't argue with that...
as for the box, maybe the picture is small but the size of box is same as the old breitling boxes, that blk leather carrying case is embedded in the box as you know.

Great looking World, I love the white dial World, my favorite of the Navi line. I think a brown strap will look great on it.
