Post subject:  My new DSSD!

So after mulling it over for quite some time and going through countless Breitling, Omega and Panerai models looking for the 'one' I got the DSSD and I couldn't be happier. Got it from an AD minutes before the price hike, talk about being at the right place at the right time. Now, if only I could get myself to pull away the stickers and start wearing it. lol

PS: Anyone wanna buy a Pam 88 or a Breitling 6.75?

Here are some pics along with the mandatory wrist shot.

That is a fine-looking watch. I would love one myself but funds are currently not permitting!

PS: you may have a buyer for the PAM here:

Great looking watch, I just tried one on and thought it was amazing, the bracelet kinda bugged me, but still an outstanding watch. Congrats.

i think this is the best Rolex out right now for the money IMO. i agree with roman4405 the bracelet is the only issue on this watch. i think it goes from 24mm at the lugs down to 18mm at the clasp.

The bracelet size is only a cosmetic issue you soon get used to it ,IMO Its the clasp ! the glide lock system is great but was not made to be used for micro adjusting of the bracelet to fit your wrist..I would have to say that the DEEPSEA bracelet is in desperate need for a half link or two this will help in the adjusting the bracelet to different sized wrists. When using the glide lock system to get a proper fit all your doing is starting the dive extension to come out ,Apart from it not following the wrist (as it is approx the length of two links) it kind of looks out of place . Only my 2c worth. Still is a Awesome watch !!

Congrads on the watch i hope you'll enjoy it. :threequartslingclub: :rolex . The dial looks awesome but the bracelet kills the whole watch but that's from my point of view

Whats with the bezel in this picture in between 40 and 43? It almost looks like it melted away. I hope thats just light reflection.

Guys ! The bracelet is fine and after a very short time everyone gets used to it; I know I did and I love it.

BTW: the watch is VERY heavy; lets all thank the Rolex gods that the bracelet is NOT any wider 8)....would have been toooo heavy

@ AVANTIX : I told you the blow torch would melt the ceramic bezel...
...Also watch your back next Wednesday night on the ice!!! Ill be heading straight at you
