Never seen the watch in person...I think it looks great on the Breitling website. Do you guys like it? Anyone have pics? |

I saw it at my AD on Friday, when I got my Steelfish. I have to say, it is a beautiful watch, proportions and all. This one had the black dial, and the large date looked wonderful, as they have now made it a black background to match the dial. Now, the part I don't like is the price: $5100CAD. Admittedly, it has the Breitling Caliber 49 large date, but the only changes over the Cockpit are aesthetics. If it had an inhouse movement, maybe I could see them justifly the increase. Still, a wonderful looking watch, and the new bezel really suits it. I guess it would be OK if one could get a 20% discount, but definitely not worth $5100 IMHO. Cheers, Carl |
