So I bought my Blackbird in July and wasn't able to actually wear it until about a week and a half ago and it's by far the greatest watch I've ever owned. I've never written a review and I don't have $20k in photography equipment so I'll just show my crappy pictures.

Thank you to everyone on here for making a great site where we can learn about watches to make the right choice. Thanks also to mfserge and sharkman for taking such great care of this watch, it was like new when I got it and looks great. I got 3 compliments on it in the first hour I wore it :!:

It came on the BB bracelet, here's a crappy wristshot.

The bracelet was beautiful, but a bit too shiny for me. It also came with a brown calf strap which I had put on it after wearing it on the bracelet for a couple of days.

As far as the size, it's absolutely perfect for me. It's just under 44mm, while that might be small for a lot of Breitlings  I think it fits me perfectly.

The dial is absolutely amazing, I know it's just black, but the texture of the dial along with the way the sub-dials are set lower than the main dial and the big date window make it a pleasure to look at.

The lume is just great, I love that the sub-dial hands are lumed as well as the hour and minute hands. This pics sucks, but it was the best I could do.

All in all I couldn't be happier with the Blackbird. I was a little worried about it being a polished version since I was really interested in the brushed version, but I think the polished case on the brown calf work very well, fingerprints suck though.

Sweet! Looks great on dark brown strap. Fingerprints?? Don't touch the case. :D Go to a Lenscrafters and buy a couple microfiber cloths for a couple bucks each. Moisten one corner in hot water - wipe it down. Dry it. You're ready to go.

Just don't forget to put the bracelet on form time to time to get all blingy.

Good idea about the microfiber cloth. I need to get a Bergeron(?) 6767f so I can swap out the strap for the bracelet when I want to dress it up some. I'm also thinking of getting a black calf or maybe a black croc, I just don't know if I could bring myself to spend $400 or so on a damn strap. Maybe a DPII :?

Looks good on both the bracelet and the strap. I'd put it on a brown croc though instead of the calf.

Hey roman, I met with Jeannie of http://www.stonecreekstraps.com today. She is making an alligator Rally strap for my silver dial Chopard (try to find a pre-made short strap in a 21mm lug width - impossible). Bob Davis of mywatchmaker.net gave her website and it turns out she lives 10 miles from me. She had a bag full of Nile croco and Lousiana gator hides. She will custom make to your specs for about $160 with burnished edges. Another $30 or so for rolled edges. I picked a light tan gator hide that she will darken some by oiling. Should be ready late next week. If it's a nice as I expect it to be, you may want to give her a try. It's half of what a Breitling croco will cost. She had some really nice hornback hides too.

Definitely let me know how you like it, I really have no issue with using an aftermarket strap as long as it's good quality.

When did this happen? I saw one of these in Vegas and I loved it. The yellow hands and numbers really do make it stand out against the other Avengers in the case.
You should get a yellow calf strap with black stitching :poke:
