Still on the topic of my favorite combos, here are a few of the DLC 111 that I quite enjoy:

Might be a bit big for my friend here

Extra thick, extra supple brown calf.

Never liked DLC. However, these pics have made me understand why people do! DLC seems to fit PAM better than Breitling IMHO

It is a killer Panerai, and when I bought it I thought I would be head over heels in love with it, I mean it has every thing I like about Panerai and then some. 1950 case, sandwich dial, titanium and steel case, tobacco dial, in house movement, GMt and monopulsante chrono....but it just doesnt click for me!! At least definately not enough for me to keep when I could get a watch that does whisper my name.

Good eye, yes I actually pride myself on my strap changing speed. My record is 45 seconds for a screw bar (like on this watch), 85 seconds for a spring bar, and 25 seconds for the Panerai quick strap system like on the 233/311/30.

Geeky I know

Hey Altair, where do you get your straps? You have some beauties there, I need to get a few for my incoming PAM!

Great shots by the way.

Cheers

The straps are nice

Your timing records are indeed impressive. I'll have to try it myself one day.

But you must be able to do better than that on your JLC EWA, right? :D
