Well not much of a cook but have been grilling for 1 years and have found the perfect grilled burger recipe, people who had it kept raving so thought I would share : )

Here is the end result:
Image

First off, the secret to any good meal is primo ingredients. Start with ground beef made from half ground Sirloin and half ground Striploin, yes I know expensive for a burger but trust me, it will be worth it!

Do not over spice, initially dry mustard and Worcestershire sauce is all you need! Get in there with your hands!
Image

Image

The patties should be thick but not too thick, dont over mold them either! I preffer a burger that looks a bit ugly rather than one that is stiff and dry. You want those juices to stay in there. Just before grilling add a little layer of olive oil, salt and fresh ground pepper. Do this at the lat minute to prevent the meat from drying out.

Image

Next up start working on the sides, my favorites are stuffed green peppers and some mushroom and corn medley.

Get a nice fresh green pepper, coat the inside with chille, I use our home made variety.

Image

Next up fill that bad boy up with cheese, i use a four cheese mix myself, you need stronger cheeses. Monterey jack, cheddar, etc

Image

Get the mushrroms (I use Portebelo) in a pan, add olive oil and butter. Same with the corn in a different bowl.

Now lets get the grill fired up, put in the pan with the mushrooms, wait ten minutes. I am using my new PAM here to time the grill :) :) :)

Image

Now that we are fired up start to add the meat, then flip and add the pepper, mix in the corn, start grilling the beef bacon, and finally brush some butter on the bread and grill them for 1 minute on the grill.

Now we start stacking, a little BBQ sauce on the bottom, Ranch to cool things down on the top, and add herb and cheddar cheese. the real cheese not the supermarket stuff!!

Pack on that grilled beef bacon, close up and HEAVEN! Who says great tasting food has to be complicated?

Try it out, I guarantee you will not taste a better burger! I know I haven't!

Damn this post made me hungry again!

Oh also LOVING the new DLC Panerai!! Man that black and brown is killing!

 Awesome review there Altair!

I'm must confess I'm not overly loving that particular Panerai due to my rampant DLC phobia, BUT I'm loving your burger receipe! I've already eaten this evening, but those pics are making me feel starving hungry again!!

(Oh and congrats on the PAM too!)

Veeery funny  hey it wasnt suppoused to be a review

I can see what you are saying about DLC. personally I do not have a problem with it, ceramic watches shatter, steel dents and scratches (many times irreversably) DLC is harder to scratch or dent, and can be re aplied to fix any major issues, sure a DLC job is more expensive than a polish, but thats not a show stopper for me as I just love the look of a DLC Panerai

Its a "non-pork" thing. With all due respect, of course.
