Watch Santa stopped by today with a new gift!!! I've been after this piece for almost two years and FINALLY here she is!! I owned an Omega Planet Ocean chrono last year (sold it) but this model seems to be much thinner and lighter...anyone know why? It sits a lot closer to my wrist than my previous PO Chrono....I'm thinking it's just an illusion because of the rubber strap. |

I like it, especially the old-style logo and "Omega" text! ![]() |

Thanks!! I'm very happy with it...haven't taken it off since I got it. It's great to have a PO back in the collection. This rubber strap, which looks like leather, is by far the most comfortable strap I've ever owned. I never thought I'd like anything more than my ling collection but I think this fits/looks perfect. |

Is there a specific model name for that strap? or is it just a simple Omega rubber strap? -E |

Yes, it's actually called 'Planet Ocean Black n White Rubber Divers strap with CURVED ENDS' I love how the ends sit right up against the case with no gap. Take a look at ofrei.com they have more detailed info. E3E3 wrote: Is there a specific model name for that strap? or is it just a simple Omega rubber strap?

As I've told you before, amazing watch. That really changed my opinion about Omega's, I know I may be in a minority here but I'm not a big fan of most of their models, but that one is outstanding, I'd love one with a white dial. |

Guess it can be shortened to rubber strap w/curved ends. The 'curved ends' is the key rather than 'straight ends' I've never seen a Planet Ocean with a white face; I know they have some Speedmasters with a white face. |

I was so close to pulling the trigger on this one last week. http://www.newturfers.com/vb/showthread.php?t=3751 I really like how there are so few (118) I've never heard of it so I searched online and couldn't find any info about this watch. So I held off. Still love it tho. really want an Omega. -E |

Nice work Sergio. I was in Texas this weekend (Texas in July makes Arizona seem rather comfortable) and thought I gave you a thumbs up here, but obviously my BlackBerry hiccupped. ![]() |

Thanks Tom!! I'm very happy with it, I still haven't taken it off. Its just so comfortable! We're having a heatwave out here on the east coast....my thermometer was at 115 earlier. I may have to come to Phoenix just to cool off. sharkman wrote: Nice work Sergio. Gorgeous watch. I actually tried one of these on at Ben Bridge when they were having the 25% off sale on all Omegas. And it was either this, or the NaviWorld. NaviWorld won. For now. |
