Not the watch I set out to get, but it’ll do. 40th Anniversary LE Zenith El Primero Chrononmaster. 45MM, chocolate Crocodile on deployment. The chrono second hand is a thing to behold – real sweep second thanks to an engine revving at 36,000 VPH.

That is where I was looking, but it seems there are three hands there like a propeller.

Great looking watch by the way

Well one has a a lighter colored tip but really the running seconds here is not functional, it's a decorative part of the "open" section which BTW is much more decorated looking in the flesh.

This is not the most readable watch I have - by a long shot. But I am gettig used to it. I just may keep it!

Congrats! I think this is the best bad experience you could have had. IMO you came out far better with this one!

It was a tough decision between the Anniversary LE with the stripe and the regular models, 3 of which were in the running. In the end I went for a slightly more interesting dial while sacrificing what many Zenith enthusiasts consider to be a classic and perfect dial.

I had to remember this is my watch, not someone else's. So I took the one I found more appealing even if it might gag some of the Zenith purists, who overall seem to be a rather glum and bland bunch. :(

Not at all like the "Lingeristi!" :)

Very VERY nice indeed. I love the El Primero movement, and the Chronomaster is a great case style that suits it down to the ground. And soooooo much better than the Omega that they managed NOT to sell you!
