This watch may have been discontinued a few years ago, but my AD had a never owned one in the display case yesterday. It felt like Christmas. Only better.

You need to wear sunglasses when looking at that beauty..I looked directly at it and burned my retina.

Surely not for everyone - which is why OImega discontinued it. But it is for me and the rarity is just icing.

Yeh Sonyman, what are the odds of finding that watch in an AD display case?

Was this discontinued in 2005???

Never really liked Omega but I love this combo! What were the years of production?

Around 2004 - 2006 but all were made early but took a while to sell

Been a long time since I've seen one of those in an AD! I always liked them......... and a heck of a lot more interesting that the ubiquitous "Bond" Seamaster <yawn>.

Nice going!

I fully understand where you are coming from. When I first saw this watch on the forums I didn't like it at all. But it grew on me and the fact it has become almost a "cult watch" sealed the deal.

One thing to Omega, Chopard, and every other watch brand that soley relies on a half link for bracelet adjustment - WHY?!? It seems I need a 1/3 link, because too tight with the 1/2 link and too lose with the full limk. Grrrrr.....

I'll try to rememeber - one of those rare watches that truly is all brushed. Not a speck of polished.

Sharkman,

It really is a beautiful piece. I've always thought so. Now if I could just find someone who would be willing to trade his Great White for my Planet Ocean.
