BUSA came through and today I picked up the new LE green bezel Heritage Chrono, first in the southwest US. #12/1000. She is lovely! Sorry in advance for my sophomoric photography skills. These pics don’t do the bezel justice. It is much more vibrant. Somewhere between a Kelly and forest green.

Congratulations! You decided on the chrono, the green adds a nice contrast to dial.

Well let me tell you all how I almost lost her. Wore home on the ocean racer, sized at AD. 75 degrees on May 1 in Phoenix and I'm driving with the windows down, windy and lovely day, left arm on sill, going about 70. Watch is technically outside the truck. Sun is gleaming off the bezel. I look and just then see the end of one spring bar where it should be in the deployment clasp. I pull my arm in and the watch FALLS into my lap. I stuttered "Oh sh*t, oh sh*t" at least 30 times. Gives me the willies just retelling it.

being a diesel mechainc, I see A LOT of stupid stuff people do. I do all my own resizing and band changes. I don't need some dumb ass scratching my watch or leaving something loose. I've lost a lot of respect for people's ability over the years.

Yeah Clean I learned a lesson. I size everything myself anyway. Have done OR deplyments from scratch. But it was a Saturday and I was in no hurray, sitting with sales rep, chatting away - about Breitlings.

Lesson - don't ever ASSUME the strap or bracelet has been set securely. Give it good tugs and pushes.

The only thing holding the strap to the deployment clasp was the tension fit. If oyu've removed and replaced a deployment on a rubber strap you know what I mean.
