Some belated pics of one of my new toys. I really like this one, it's comfortable but has a lot of presence on the wrist. At the moment I've got it on a black calf Manifatture Firenze strap that I originally bought for my Panerai.

Nice going Otto!

Bizarre that Kobold should crop up in another thread on here that I have literally just finished replying too!

Nice collection BTW, but I have to say it's funny to see that orange G-Shock in the same watch box as those beauties on the bottom row!

I am a big fan of the Kobold Arctic Diver. Congratulations on the new acquisition.

Hey, I thought I was the only one who stored his Gshock with the his high end watches. Mine is strickly a "beater" watch. Nice diverse collection you got there too! Im diggin' that Planet Ocean. That might be my next purchase. Im not too familiar with the Kobold brand. How do you like it? I've yet to see one in person.

At the risk of drawing ire, I like the Luminox Colormarks too.

Thanks guys!

D8 - yes it's a bit of a mix. The way I see it, the top row were all impulse buys, and the bottom row is the serious stuff. The Ritmo I only bought because my boss thinks it's funny I have the same watch as Ari Gold.

Anyhow, the orange G-Shock doesn't normally live in the box (it's solar powered so it lives out in the light to keep it charged) and the Orange Monster is sold to a friend pending long-awaited funds. I just included them so the box would be full, as there is one watch missing - the B&R, which is back in hospital unfortunately.

sharkman - no ire from me, I love the Luminoxes. I struggled to justify buying the second one, but in the end I just shut my eyes and paid. I wear them cycling. :D

Anyhow, the Kobold: I am really impressed with it. Wears quite a lot like a Panerai, maybe just a bit heavier if anything but very similar. I am seriously tempted to get another, but there's no way I would pay full price for one. Mine came from another WIS in mint condition and cost me well under 50% of full price, seems to me that's the way to go unless you get one on the new model pre-order deal.

Thanks mate. Not quite like yours yet, but some planned acquisitions should take it a bit further.

Seriously nice collection there Otto, thanks for sharing. Which one is your favourite?

I like your new kobold too, how does it wear?

Thanks Tim. So hard to nominate a favourite, but I guess it might (just might) be the IWC. On the other hand, the Planet Ocean gets the most wear, and if I could only have one of them it might well be the Panerai. :huh

The Kobold wears extremely well, the angle of the lugs seems to suit my wrist. I'd guess it would be even more comfortable on a rubber strap.
