Well, it's been a busy couple of weeks, picked up a new silver dial chronomat courtesy of Avantix and also got a new ocean racer for my steelfish, enjoy.

Those photos of watches on the concrete wall are really making me cringe. Did it not scratch them?

Steelfish looks damn good on that Ocean racer 8)

Congrats over the Chronomat  I'm really envious.......was an early wannabe for Avantix watch but import tax just had it out of my reach.....

Love the Blue dial Steelfish on Ocean Racer also....have just picked up a black OR for use on my B1/B2

Two beautiful watches. The OR really matches the Steelfish quite nicely. Good choice.
(The concrete really scares me though.)Image :poke:

Put a piece of scotch tape on the side of the case before I took the photos, for once in my life actually planned ahead on that one! 8)

I'm really pleased with the ocean racer, ALMOST enough to justify the price tag.............

Great pick up Sparwood. I came very close to buying this one.
I even tried it on, after all, Avantix is a Montreal boy...

The watch was a real LNIB :lingsrock:

The B01 has nothing on this Chronomat I must say.

I've always wanted one - a graphite dial. Hmm..

Thanks for all the great comments guys, I'm really happy with both the chronomat and the steelfish on the new strap. I think the next purchase is going to be a black dialed Navi World, that one is going to have to wait a while though......... :lingsrock:

Sparwood,

I just saw this thread and goddamn this makes me want a steelfish so bad. Completely changed my opinion on them singlehandedly with your pictures. Bravo the SF and Chronomat look unbelievable. Two incredible watches that are at the top of my wanted list.

kudos.

Thanks for the comments, glad to help .

I actually traded the chronomat in not too long ago for this bad boy!

Back to the steelfish, I love it especially with the ocean racer strap, I don't think I have had the ProII on since I picked up the racer. It works out well with the Navi World as I usually wear a suit to work which doesn't really lend itself to the steelfish on rubber, but the white dial Navi goes with pretty much any colour suit, so I wear the Navi to work and the steelfish the rest of the time.

Next purchase will be a tan croco strap on a deployant for the Navi I think, although the new Chronospace that damnfoolman just picked up is pretty sweet as well, maybe a black dial to round out the whiote Navi and blue 'fish.
