getting a decent shot of this watch. Even attached a UV filter to the lense but I just can't get rid of glare and hotspots. The cambered crystal and blue dial conspire against me!! :(

Try using a dark reflector (black card, for example) behind the camera - or at least on the axis of the crystal

I've sometimes actually cut holes in card to photograph thru to reduce reflections on the object being photographed - sadly this is not obvious in my appaling digital photos visible here!

Sporty is correct......maybe I'll show you my little black hole one day! :lol: although its more around a metre square with a 100mm hole in the middle.....comes in very handy occasionally.

Try using a polarizer too, will cut down on the reflections in the anti glare sapphire and up the contrast a little.....it all helps.
