Hi, These are just a view shots I took while vacationing down south. The first picture is on Aruba and was visible from the cruise ship dock. It was a nice billboard. ![]() The next two are on Curacao. I liked the colour of the store. I didn't find the prices that great of deal but I was really just looking at the prices stuck to the watch, I wasn't going to buy so I didn't waste the the store's time. ![]() And I had never seen a Breitling clock before. ![]() That's it, just a quick post. |

Hi Buck, Nice to see the pictures off Breitling in Aruba. Is the 2nd picture taken @ Diamonds International? I've bought my Breitling evolution @ Little Switzerland. 30% less than the list price here in the Netherlands. |

I was recently in St-Martin on the Dutch side and on a daylong shopping trip to Phillipsburgh I went into two ADs there, Little Switzerland and Art of Time and while they did have a great selection they were only giving 25% off and factoring in the US exchange a white roman stainless Chronomat was pricing out to $4900 Canadian. Hardly a deal. |

Hi, I think the second picture was actually Little Switzerland. It was a while ago and I forgot the details. I know for sure it wasn't Diamonds International even though the cruise line pushes them like crazy. I found it very weird because on the boat they have a shopping "expert" that is supposed to give people advice on where to go and tell you what stores are guaranteed by the cruise line. I had asked about Breitlings on St. Thomas and her response was along the lines that, "We don't have any other authorized store so I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending a store since we don't know if the products are authenticate. How about a <random brand> instead?" I have no idea how much advertising DI does with the ships but it has to be a lot. I totally agree with Avantix on the pricing. After factoring everything: discount, exchange, hassle at the border, for me it isn't worth it to buy one on a trip. A friend bought one somewhere down south..where all the boxes and papers still are since he was wearing it back. I bought my at a local AD and I am more than happy with my choice. I feel a got a good deal and I have all the papers and boxes. |
