I almost traded that on Monday for a Blancpain Leman Grande Date (plus some cash from me), but when I sent a few pictures and pointed out the slight trace of a fingerprint on the movement, the other party didn't want it anymore.  I have never thought much about the fingerprint, since it is actually a relic from the factory...it kind of reminds me that most of the movement is handmade. It still does really bug me, though, that the person I bought it from did not tell me about it.Oh well...I am still happy with it. It's just that I have decided that I am going to get a Dornblueth custom made, so this particular one, which I got used, is not a forever watch. The Blancpain could have been a forever watch. So I have decided to see if Dirk Dornblueth will remove the fingerprint for me. I know of two other people for whom they have done this. ///M |
