Great Breitling collection you've got going there! The ASBS is a great addition to the family.

The ASBS looks really good on that OR. It might be worth considering having the clasp brushed to match the caseback too. Nice combo.

Great pics, Dan!
The guy who sold you the beautiful Blacksteel must be nuts!!
Anyway, you sure got much better shots of it than I ever did. Looks great in the collection, too. That 1166 has sure travelled a long way to get home.
Looks great on that OR!
Cheers,
Carl

Not sure how much it'd cost, but I woudn't expect it to be too much. Absolute tops would be about $30 in my book..... but then I am guessing.

I've heard (on here) of people having a go themselves and then when they've sent the watch in to Breitling for a service, Breitling have done it properly for them free of charge! But to be honest any decent watchmaker / repairer should be able to do this for you.

Now that you mention it Driver8, when I got my Seawolf, my AD offered to brush my OR for no charge.
The brushed look would probably suit the watch very well. As mentioned, it would match the back of the case, and also blend with the front a little better.
Cheers,
Carl
