I dont know about Downhill this place is jammed packed everyday of the week just about. The weekends are a mad house. I sometimes think that place makes more money than Disney World.

Ah, don't get me wrong! Hard Rocks are still great, and many of them are doing very, very well. I've met some great people, too, as I've travelled and met the staffs at various HRC locations. I have no doubt that the Hollywood FL/Seminole location is doing great! I've just noticed something subtle since the tribe bought the franchise. Worlwide, there seems to be a very slight decline in the brand pride at various Cafe's. Some very, very good Cafe's at great locations have been allowed to close. Most recently, I visited the Montreal HRC, which is one of the older ones, and has a fantastic ambience. It's closing in October. I collect the shot glasses from each location, and was just a bit disappointed when I visited the Hollywood FL/Seminole location. It should be the flagship of all Hard Rock locations worldwide, but I couldn't find anything other than I think a hat that even had the location name printed on it. The very few pieces of glassware they sold were all the "Tattoo" prints, with flowery designs, no identification at all. Wasn't a huge thing, but kind of disappointing. Contrast that with the Las Vegas HR Hotel, and they sold everything under the sun. That place is awesome. I ended finding another collector later that traded me a old Hollywood FL shot glass from wayyyy back that had the correct labeling.

Wow that's pretty cool. I agree that the Holly wood one is a sort of Flagship location in terms of area and stuff there is to do. I cant imagine if these guys expand this location anymore, it would be massive.

I live a few blocks away from it so all i have to do is make a right out of my neighborhood go down maybe 10-15 blocks and boom its right there.

Have you been to the one in Dubai? I have been there occasionally because i work out there but its def a very old location. I heard at one point it was the tallest building on Shiek Zayed road....now look at all the crazy stuff they have there.

Actually, no, I've flown over Dubai lots and lots, but never stopped.

When I was in Toronto, I spoke to a very knowledgeable manager at the main HRC there, who told me that they're building one in Anchorage, Alaska next year. I can't wait! The location they're putting it is PERFECT, too, and I definitely want to be there for the grand opening party. I'm going to write to corporate to get in on that.

Hey i been to that same HRC in Florida and i must say that place is better then any casino here in Atlantic city just cause there is so much stuff to do. And the clubs are sick. Tell me do they still have that water, laser light show?

Yes they do still have the lazer light show of the Indians dancing on the water. Every time i go eat at one of the restaurants on the water i ask to get a good seat.
