That is RIDICULOUSLY beautiful!! Absolutely gorgeous watch and pics. Thank you so much for sharing. :D I've loved the SA since its introduction but the new edition really helps define the beast even more. Wifey wanted me to get either an SA or the Navi "World" when they came out but I was on the chase for a B-1 or a Crosswind (can't remember which) at the time and declined the SA. Came close to pulling the trigger on a really good white face EM deal about that time also and have regretted not snagging that one either. Got off track a bit chasing UTC modules but no regrets there. :wink: :) Looks like I'm going to have to visit an AD and reassess the SA.... Yikes! :lol:

I am going totally SA crazy here... damn nice pics!

I need a white old styled one as comapnion to my new blue one!!! I won´t feel good until I have two LARGE Breitlings. I cant wear my SO anymore, it looks ridiculous now in comparison (it looked small on me before, but now... jeeeez). When you get used to the size and weight there is no turning back.

If anyone wants it, PM me and give me an offer!

Now I need to hunt down a white old SA at a good price as my watchbudget is slim this time of the year, see you later! ;)

Even though I have just sold my white-with-arabics SA to fund my new 6.75, I much say that the white-with-batons SA is really starting to grow on me! Maybe if I feel the need for a second SA once more that'll be the one.

Nice watch.
Question: I just bought a super avenger from week 4 2008, and it has arabic number. and the the breitling homepage show the arabic version.

Has breitling made a new model 2008? and did't put it on there homepage??

Remember Breitling is still manufacturing both versions of the dials. So if you prefer Arabic to Batons you can certainly go for it. I believe Runway 08 refers to the choice as:

- Dial with index hour-markers or "aviation" numerals.




Ron, I need to get a better camera/lights etc as you sir have some RIDICULOUS photos you post :shock: My $200 Canon doesn't do it for me much any more :cry:

In April 2008 they introduced the new SA model with batons instead of numbers.

I absolutely adore this dial. Those batons just fit the watch so well.

And that white dial!! ... Stunning looking. :shock:
