The website states that they are waterproof???? Did you ever try it? or can you comment on the durability of the leather with sweat etc?

I haven't went swimming with them but, It inner lining is vented. Very comfortable to wear. I live in Arizona an they stand up to the sweat much better than anything else I have had. I have a large wrist so I am always looking for longer straps. I feel like I've tried them all. These are the nicest I have found for the cost. I have them on most of my collection. I like them better than some OEM straps. If you are not happy the owner is a great guy he will take care of you.

BTW; Transocean is my next Ling I'd like to get, let me know how you like it.
