Despite its 38mm size I think the white dial Montbrillant on the pilot bracelet is the bees knees and would fit perfectly on smaller size wrists. Thinking about it as my next watch. I know there aren't a lot of owners out there (did a search) but lets get the few and proud to post some pics of this fine Breitling. Greatly appreciated!

Alex, sorry, but mine is on croc, posted pics in another thread that you saw, getting a brown croc soon for it, but no plans for a bracelet.

Alex, are you talking vintage? I know Navis/Montbrillants used to be on Pilots a long time ago, but they're on Navi bracelets now, aren't they? I confess I haven't paid that close attention.

@ WatchFred: Yes, I remember. You posted some pics recently and mentioned about a scratch on the crystal. I wouldn't want to trouble you but if you got some more pictures to share it would be greatly appreciated, regardless if its on croc, if I get one I intend to wear it on brown croc and also the ss bracelet.

@JacksonStone: You're right Sir, I made a mistake typing that yesterday, they're indeed on Navitimer bracelets now. I'm looking for the recently discontinued model or will wait for the Montbrillant 01 when it becomes available later this year. My AD doesn't have any so I want to look at some pictures to see it in more detail and also how it wears on the wrist.

Alex, here are some shots of my "classic" 38mm Montbrillant. Mounted a "wrong" brown croc for you to give you an impression. Added some family shots to show size differences and wrist shots to see how it "wears"; hope this helps, Fred

Great pics Fred (especially no 2) for an extraordinary and classic piece. It's so dressy in that combo. :lingsrock:

Very nice family pic, too. Enjoy them all.

Thanks for helping me out Fred with the pictures, they are very timely. I really like the number "12" and the "Breitling" logo at the noon position as well as the sword shaped hour hands are outstanding. I beleive the model that just got discontinued didn't have these features, no number "12" and no swords hands.

I think this would be a great model for me given my wrist size. How is the thickness of the case? I believe its 12.50mm. Any comments would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Fred, thank you very much. It is especially nice to hear that it fits my wrist well. Coming from a Chrono Colt Quartz the size of the ML needs getting used to, even though I was expecting a bigger watch ;-) About the pictures: I was surprised with the quality of the shots too... I made them with my, ahum, iPhone.. I'm not really into photography so I don't have a SLR or something like that.

PS Great collection! I can only hope to take my 'Ling-collection to that level

Haha, I knew you were so glad of your new 'Ling that you would like to post pics everywhere.

Rightly so, because it's a very nice piece.

And as your signature says, you CAN be proud. :lingsrock:
