Thanks guys.

Driver the 233 has so much more cred than the 270. First in-house, domed crystal, manual wind, sandwich dial etc etc... it rawks. While the 270 has many of these features itself, I think the dial is just a little too complicated as you mentioned. The latest L series 233 is actually gaining the AM/PM indicator of the 270 which so far has not been received well on Paneristi from what i've read. Hopefully this reinforces the vale in the 233 further. hehe.

Sup Quan! :D Mate this is the first time i've put this strap back on the watch since I picked it up from you in LA. Forgot how much I like it!. Hope your well mate.

All true enough, but then the 270 has the first in-house Panerai AUTOMATIC movement. :)

To be honest I love them both, and when the economic situation improves a little and I feel I can splash out on another "big ticket" piece, then both of them will be in the running.

Wow, I was never a real big fan of the Panerai's but watches like yours are making me come around on them REALLY FAST! Beautiful watch!

panerai is beautifully simplistic. might be too big a shift for some in the breitling camp though  .

i went from a breitling b-2 gradually to a pam 210, but i can admire both brands.
