Here is a picture i took yesterday of my Colt 2500ft up a mountain here in Wales called Tryfan.

Thought i would take a picture of the watch in harsh conditions. Was blowing 40-50mph and rain. Temp was around 3oC.

It was the best "watch" picture i could manage because of weather conditions :lingsrock: .

This is half way up  . You can see were i started the climb, that is the road and car park right down there. Only half way up in this picture  .

Looks like a lot of work for a lousy day (I mean the weather). :P

Beautiful, I really like the second pic.

But what's wrong with you, climbing 2500 ft in windy and freezing conditions? Why not save the climb for a nice and warm day? ;) But then again, windy and 3 degrees maybe is nice and warm in Wales? ;)

This may sound REALLY odd, but I actually really like weather like that in the mountains!

Snowdonia in winter is fantastic. Last time I went camping and climbing there it was Easter a few years ago, and I think weather like that really makes the experience. Must be something to do with "getting back to nature"........... or something!

That's a great picture! It really does bring back the old memories.

I might have to see if I can cart the Mrs up there at some point. It's a highly unlikely prospect as I'm sure Jimmy Choo doesn't make walking boots, but hey I can ask!

I agree - that last one is really great.

Sorry about the joking earlier, I do understand you. I've been climbing/hiking a bit myself in the Swedish and Norwegian mountains, and in the French alps too.

Hey driver
Bring your Mrs up here to the Lakes. She can strut round Keswick shops in her Jimmy Choo's with me and you can hit the Fells with my beautiful lady as I'm no longer up to it since I had surgery on both feet to remove some darned bunions.
Life, eh ???
