Hi guys,

I picked this one up few days ago. Yes, a Rolex!. Before you call me infidel let me say this is an amazing watch. Very well constructed and very sleek.

I enjoy my Rolex as much as I enjoy my :lingsrock:, both are great watches.

Here are some shots, I hope you enjoy it. :)

beautiful piece. i love the updated model of the GMT, especially the new 'wide' font on the bezel and the addition of the green hand. congrats. While on the subject of rolex, i was lucky enough to try both the DayDate2 and the Yatchmaster2 today and they were superbly crafted and relatively chunky yet sleek pieces. Rolex have really got it going on these days!!!

Have to say, that is one great looking watch!
I am really partial to the sturdy look of their bracelets, too, although they seem to have more of a taper than the Breitlings.
Cheers,
Carl

Correct on both counts Carl! :D

However it wasn't that long ago that the words "sturdy look" and "Rolex bracelets" went together about as well as bacon and chocolate! Now though, they really are excellent.

Nice watch Phil, and it looks great on your wrist too!

Thanks guys. Its an amazing piece and I'm really glad I decided to go for it. The clasp itself is a piece of art.

I've never been a Rolex guy (as I've said before), but I can certainly appreciate a fine watch - congratulations.

However, I'm also finding the idea of bacon and chocolate rather appealing.

Great watch, and brand. Rolex make some excellent watches, designs might not conform to everyone's tastes but they certinely are classics.

I held off on the GMT master myself as its size is a bit too smal for a sport watch and my wrist, but it looks spot on yours. Congrats!
