After 3 years of oogling Breitling watches, I finally have one of my own. With the exception of a band/braclet mistake, I had a great experience with my local AD. All the advice on this website was very helpful. And now my sorry attempt at watch porn!

Congratulations and welcome to Breitling ownership. By my standards the pictures are phenomenal so don't apologise.

So what's next.....

Well done, my friend, and congrats on selecting a very fine timepiece. Enjoy the unique pleasure of having a 'Ling on your wrist.
Wear it in health.

Congratulations! One of the best looking, masculine mens' watches ever. I am also a big fan of the Diver Pro rubber strap, and it looks great on that watch!
Cheers,
Carl

I agree with Carl. Its a very masculine watch and the rubber helps acentuate it's ruggedness. You are going to love that watch.

Thank you all for you comments, I've enjoyed reading them. I'm fairly obsessed with these forums as of late. :D The issue I had with my AD as mentioned above was the type of band I ordered. I am American and live in Germany, and sometimes the language barrier is a bit of a challange, tough most speak very good english. Anyway somewhere along there was confusion about Pro 2 braclet and Diver pro and as you can see I ended up with the Diver. I was a bit dissapointed but figured I'd just order the Pro 2 at a later date. The Diver Pro has grown on me i must say, it does infact make it look a bit rugged and not so flashy, although there are some times I'll want it flashy. Once again thank you for your comments..

It's good to have multiple straps for some versatility :D

SedateSix,

Along with :lingsrock: I am also into tattoos. What is that on your forearm? Just curious.

Here's another idea for you. This is a link to a posting of the Avenger Skyland, with an Ocean Racer strap. IMHO the Skyland looks best with this strap, I even prefer it over the PRO II. But that's for you to decide, anyway. If you do a search, you can probably find one or two more postings with various straps and bracelets, there seem to be a lot of variations by guys on this forum.

DDN, I find tattos to be an amazing form of self expression. The one in the pic is an "old school" flash piece done by a friend of mine. My grandfather name is in the scroll. He always said wed forget about him and to remember him every once in awhile. I showed him! anyway heres the tat when it was about 3 hrs old.

Welcome to the club. Make sure you get the Bracelet too, there is just something about the Skyland on the ProII. Great watch enjoy!
