Did you notice a small detail on the dial which is different from the older 6.75?

I haven't got mine to hand to look at, but nothing is springing to mind. Put us out of our misery! :)

Word ˝for˝ is written in different font. :D

I'm glad everything worked out with George, it looks great and wear it in good health.

Great watch jaybizzal...Can i ask what size is your wrist? and did you try on the motors and find the 6.75 sits a little higher than the motors?...Just trying to figure out if the 6.75 sits higher on the arm than the motors because of the back case.

Thanks
peter

A stunning piece! My favourite Bentley. I actually preferred the bronze dial, and saw one at my AD. However, now I see the black dial on yours, I think it looks better. I love that watch, especially with the big date at 12 o'clock.
Cheers,
Carl

My wrist is about 7"...I have tried on the motors and I believe the 6.75 might sit a little higher. Not too much higher but I do love the fact that rim is back there!!

Yeah I like the bronze dial as well but have always been drawn to the black dial. Glad you like it and thanks for letting me share!

My wrist is about 7"...I have tried on the motors and I believe the 6.75 might sit a little higher. Not too much higher but I do love the fact that rim is back there!!

It's not just the caseback - the case itself is actually very slightly thicker on the 6.75 too. My Motors and Le Mans are the same thickness as each other, but my 6.75 is fractionally thicker. It's because the B44 movement in the 6.75 is slightly thicker than the B25 in the Motors (and B22 in the Le Mans).

Breitling tend to make their movements in a modular method by piggy-backing different modules to a base movement which is why some models have the chronograph push-pieces slightly higher than the crown if you look at it side on. This modular construction results in some movements being a little thicker than others.
