WOW  you must have a great camera :!:

The colour of that cap is very rare. I believe they made them specially for the Reno event.

The Reno air races are a great air show. They also had a LE reno air race SOHC for sale there.

I'd LOVE to see a picture of this! I'm guessing it has the "pylon and planes" Reno logo on the dial?

OK, update! I've just found a pic of it. It's on here - http://www.airrace.org/indexJS.php

I was right about the logo, but it's also got red sub-dial hands. I reckon it's looks pretty good. Only 100 made, and were dispatching by end of August, so I bet they are long-gone now........

Thanks for the kind comments.

When I went to the tent they still had some of the LE reno air races SOHC. Apparently they make a model every year.

I like the red subdial hands, it was one of my comments on the LE we're trying to put togeher.

I was really looking at going to the air races this year, it has always been something of real interest, but alas it passed me by once again. I didn't realise the Raptor was going to be there. Saw it at Farnborough back in July and it was pretty nifty machine.

The cap is pretty sweet, really like the colour. Goes nicely with my golf stuff!

I know an English guy who named his daughter Reno in honour of the air races...
