Impulse buy, never really worked it's way into the rotation.

Image

Too big on my little wrists

Image

Too big

Image

Love it, but sold it once because it wasn't getting enough wrist time, bought another and am in the process of selling it again because it wasn't getting enough wrist time.

Image

After purchasing it, I decided I liked the stick markers better

Image

I prefer the black date wheel on the non-LE

Image

Watch was a little repetitive in my collection as I have other open faced watches

Image

That's it.....for now

Okay, with what pics are still around, here we go....

My first Breitling. Enjoyed it, but decided after a while I had enough digital

Image

My second Breitling. Two tone and pearl dial. A great watch, but at the time just seemed a little blingy

Image

I had to have a Panerai, but the 44mm just didn't seem right. A 40mm showed up which just seemed to work. About a month after joining BS, I succumbed to the fever spreading through this site and bought a new Steelfish. I also found a great deal on a Navi Heritage. Beautiful watch, though it too seemed big and the second hand on this module piece wasn't as smooth as I liked. Still, I had a nice little collection

Image

And I blew it up, sold all but the GMT, for this

Image

It was an amazing piece, winding it was possibly the greatest tactile pleasure I have had in this little watch obsession, but the dial was ruthenium, which looked grey in certain lights until it looked brown, which is what it really was. Down to the GMT and that piece, and almost a little intimidated by the Breguet, it had to go.

Somehow I ended up with this:

Image

It was gone in a couple months. Just didn't bond with it.

Part 2 next.

I don't remember the order of things for a while, but I had and sold these:

This was a great watch. I sold it for some funds after an unexpected mess which required a slight remodel of our home.

Image

This was actually a pretty piece, just a little small--and a quartz. Perpetual calendar, though

Image

This UN was a very nice watch as well, but I had Panerai fever at the time

Image

I sold the GMT above, my first nice watch, because after owning Breitlings, the bracelet just felt so cheap. I also had a plan to pick up a new IWC Cousteau 10th Anniversary Chrono. That fell through. But it was already gone.

Next, I sold this one because it was a little too monochromatic. I would have stuck it out though, but for an opportunity to pick up its replacement. The most comfortable watch I ever owned....

Image

....and the one which replaced it.

Image

Probably the prettiest watch I have owned. But I was slowing down on my dollar investment in the collection for a while. It was, at 39mm, also just a little smaller on the wrist because it was the ultra-thin 15202. Still, ouch.

There are a few others, but boy, its been a busy three years.

And I'm cool with what I have

Always wanted an analogue-digital, but realised it should have a black dial
Image

Then thought a grey dial would be a nice compromise, not so.

Image

Then added an SOH which I loved but sold it, (dunno why)

Image

Then finally got a black dial B1 with UTC, just in time for the recession, (doh)

Image

Others that came and went were:

Image

Should have got a B1

Image

Image

This was absolutely fantastic, but massive and went for that and financial reasons

Image

That's my story. Currently now have a BLACK dial B1 with a Seawolf incoming. That'll be me happy.
