A little gift arrived today - a sturdy leather passport-size billfold with some Breitling whimsy inside. Not likely I'll ever use it despite the quality, but I like free stuff regardless! (still use the tan belting leather Breitling wallet every day).

Nice Sharkey! Not quite in the pink boxers league, but damn nice!

(I don't think ANYONE ever said BUSA doesn't give free gifts : it's BUK that doesn't!)

BUSA has essentially stopped swag direct to customers. Now, they sell the swag to ADs who decide how to dole it out at the point of sale. I was very surprised when a package from Danbury, CT arrived.

I didn't know that. That's basically the same here in the UK, but very little of the swag seems to make it out from the AD's I've frequented!

They missed you Shark, probably still had the mailing address handy, heard you bought that Cockpit and are hopeful they can ramp up inventory again.

When did they do that? It doesn't seem that long ago that I read a post from a guy who received a hat from them.

In the last year. It coincided with Theirry's visit to every US AD to lay down the law on over-discounting. He also let the ADs know they had to buy swag for their customers. And that they would be policed by secret shoppers. When I picked up my last purchase several items of swag were laid out for me. I chose I knife I had never seen. I was quite surprised, and pleased, something from Danbury arrived.

Well, if he forgot to tell the people at BUSA who send the stuff out, who are we to complain?
