Any advice on how to take good pics of my Ling? I have a Nikon D50 digital SLR and while one would think I should know how to use it, well let's just leave it at that. I need help...

Hiya

Well, natural light is always nice, and I find a tripod especially useful

And use it in aperture priority mode for good depth of field.

And then take LOADS of shots. Eventually a nice one comes along. Well that's how I go about it!

Nice shots Davey!

finallymadeit, a light box makes it easy. You can make your own or buy a $50 complete set from somewhere like: http://www.skaeser.com/servlet/Detail?no=586

Thanks for the tips, guys. Those are some cool pics, Davey. BTW, my name is David, too. Although, I have never gone by Davey. David or Dave or A-Hole has always worked, but never Davey. Must be a Brit thing...

Photography these days is not the same any more.

Basically try to take as good picture, use tripod as advised, use low iso, unless you want to take black&white pictures, set the mode to M, set the time to 1/20 or lower, and try... Try to use RAW format, so you could enhance your picture in the Photoshop before you convert it to jpg, and paste it here.

I've got D50 as well, and I love this camera. My next one will be probably full frame dslr.

Regards,

M

Speaking of the Legende - how many mm´s wide is that integrated bracelet? Looks more than 24 mm.

They don't list it as it's built into the case... which is 47mm.

Just measured mine...

If you measure the first link from the watch, it's 26 mm. If you measure the beginning of the integrated link, it's 28 mm.
