Picked up this baby the other day. I probably didnt need another watch, but hey, i've got the sickness too!

I'd like to thank the supplier; UK based Breitling experts, Andrew Michaels Jewellers (free plug!). Courtesy of our very own Ricardo, who provided the most professional and efficient service. You can see his excellent review here: http://www.andrewmichaels.co.uk/blog/ae ... vo-e79363/

I won't gloss over the technical details, as it is pretty similar to the previous Aerospace models. Also, it is covered in much better detail by Ricardo. I used to have a stratus silver Avantage, which was fine for its purpose, but was a tad on the small side for me. This Evo model at 43mm is not a massive difference, but with the deletion of the "chimney" is enough to allow a slightly bigger dial, and the impression of a larger watch.
Other notable highlights: the crystal has a nice bevel to it, the rider tab at 12 is taller than the other three tabs, the contemporary ProIII bracelet feels chunkier but no less comfortable than the ProII and the hour hand is part skeletonized, losing half its lume. No biggie, since you can use the backlight when the T1 display is activated.

Colour-wise, I was undecided between volcano black or mariner blue. Since I already have a plethora of black dial watches, I decided to plump for the blue: slightly less utilitarian and slightly more civilian looking. :)

Right, enough of the small talk and on with the show.....
